Our Story

Founded with a vision to make sustainability practical and measurable, Avris Environment Technologies Pvt. Ltd has grown into one of India’s leading innovators in on-site food waste management.

What began as a simple idea, to treat food waste where it is generated, evolved into our flagship innovation, the CHUGG ‘In-situ’ Food Waste Treatment System. Designed and developed by a strong and experienced team of engineers and environmental specialists, CHUGG converts daily food waste into clean biogas and organic fertiliser, right at the source.

Over the years, Avris has partnered with Industries with in-house kitchens, Corporates, Hotels, Restaurants, and Government institutions to help them reduce landfill dependency, lower carbon emissions, and meet their SWM 2016, ESG, and SDG commitments.

Today, we continue to Engineer a Greener Tomorrow, driving the transition toward a Circular Economy — where waste is seen not as a problem, but as a powerful resource for change.

Subramanian (Ph.D., UDCT Mumbai) is an accomplished chemist with global industry experience.He has led the establishment of R&D centers, pilot plants, and commercial production facilities.His expertise spans organic synthesis, analytical standardization, and effluent treatment solutions.He is also the co-author of the textbook “The Fundamentals of Inorganic Chemistry for College Students.
